My Lifesong

Nicole and I are really enjoying our vacation here in Miami.  We spent the first couple of days in the Art Deco district of South Beach, and this evening we made our way over to the Mehaffeys to spend the rest of our time out here.  It has been fun and relaxing so far, and we are just happy to be with our friends now.  Matt made a delicious lasagna for dinner and Janie made a scrumptious apple crisp for dessert.  We spent the evening catching up and enjoying each other’s company.  (Word of warning if you visit – Jeter doesn’t realize he’s a 90+ lbs dog, so be careful when he gets moving).  There’s nothing like spending time with family – it has a way of recharging you.
