What a relaxing vacation! We are so happy we are out here. We’ve lost track of time, and we have loved spending time with each other. Staying here with Matt and Janie has been such a blessing. We have enjoyed catching up with each other, proof reading stuff, and and cooking dinner together. I wasn’t even that upset that my Cubbies lost (it is bad that I am used to us losing in the playoffs?). I was not surprised to hear that my Hawkeyes lost (rebuilding year), but was shocked to see USC lose to Stanford (how does that happen?!). But to be honest, I was focused on relaxing and spending time with family.
