My Lifesong

I am sitting in my sister’s living room in Beecher watching tv with my niece. I made the trek to spend time with my family on Valentine’s Day. Nicole has to work all weekend, so I came alone.

I came to surround myself with family today. Mom passed away 11 years ago today, and I wanted to celebrate her memory with family.

I’m homeseick, but in Christ there are no goodbyes. In Christ, there is no end.

I’ll see her again.
